Ashraf Al-Garf was named Chief Executive Officer of Projacs effective August 2015. Under his leadership, the company will continue its growth as the regional industry leader in project and construction management. Al-Garf, professional Architect, has over 30 years of experience in real estate developments, project and construction management, and engineering industry.
Prior to his current position, Al-Garf served as executive vice president and deputy CEO, in charge of the company’s overall operations since January 2006, and as senior vice president and January 2003. In these roles, he was responsible for the design and construction management phases of certain mega projects, as well as management and follow-up on day-to-day activities within the head office and construction sites. Al-Garf was overseeing and managing the company’s operations to ensure delivering the best professional standard of service to Clients.
In 1995, Al-Garf graduated with a Masters in Business Administration from the American University of London.
Al-Garf began his Projacs career in 1998 as a General Construction Superintendent in charge of all site activities related to civil and architectural packages. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Architecture from Cairo University in Egypt in 1985.
Al-Garf is a member of the Kuwaiti, Egyptian and UAE Society of Engineers. He is also a member of the AACI & ACI Kuwait Chapters, associate member of American Institute of Architects, Associate Value Engineer and Project Management Institute PMI.
In 2011 Construction Week magazine listed Al-Garf in the “Power 100” of the construction industry sector in the region.
